Fleet Coordinator Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Fleet Coordinator to join our team at Carolina CAT. As a key member of our Fleet team, you will play a critical role in supporting our day-to-day operations and strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Fleet function through data entry, event coordination, scheduling, and project delivery.
  • Process Fleet-related permits annually, including IRP, IFTA, 2290 HVUT, UCR, and Dealer license.
  • Engage with internal and external customers to gather project information and implement administrative systems.
  • Enter data into SAP and various 3rd party systems, including Smartsheet, Geotab, and Holman Insights.
  • Execute purchase orders, process invoices, and draft correspondence using Microsoft Office.
  • Foster effective working relationships with all Weisiger divisions and engage with DMV and IRP offices.
  • Provide Fleet-related driver support, including vehicle registrations, titles, fuel cards, and toll transponders.
  • Facilitate driver assignment accuracy and assist with vehicle purchases and replacements.
  • Support process improvement efforts and perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Associate's degree from a two-year college or university, or three to five years' related experience and/or training.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents, write routine reports, and speak effectively before groups.
  • Ability to calculate figures, apply basic algebra and geometry, and solve practical problems.
