Job Summary

Vista Community Clinic is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Patient Services Representative Lead to join our team. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for ensuring excellent customer service, providing oversight and support to front desk staff, and facilitating the flow of patients through our clinic.

Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients and families
  • Supervise and support front desk staff, ensuring they have the necessary tools and resources to perform their duties
  • Verify patient demographic and insurance information, collect payments, and schedule appointments
  • Facilitate patient flow, ensuring timely and efficient processing of patients through the clinic
  • Monitor and improve patient satisfaction, ensuring high-quality care and service
  • Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care
  • Perform various administrative tasks, including data entry, reporting, and record-keeping
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
  • Minimum three years' experience in a medical or dental office setting
  • Minimum one year experience in a supervisory or lead role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Proficiency in electronic medical records systems and practice management software
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with NextGen or similar electronic medical records systems
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and coding
  • Ability to speak Spanish or other languages
