Deputy Women Veterans Program Manager

The Deputy Women Veterans Program Manager is a critical role within the Veterans Affairs, Veterans Health Administration, responsible for providing leadership and advocacy for women Veterans. This position serves as a liaison between the Women Veterans Program and various healthcare services, ensuring accessible and quality care for women Veterans.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical evidence-based services and interventions, including focused individual and group work, specialized case management, and program development and strategic planning.
- Administer, plan, monitor, and evaluate access and quality of women's healthcare at the VA Loma Linda Healthcare System and Community Based Outpatient Clinics.
- Coordinate outreach, multidisciplinary activities, consultation, and education to medical center staff and community service providers.
- Develop and implement effective programs in the Community Based Outpatient Clinics that are gender-specific and culturally sensitive.
- Advise the facility Women Veterans Program Manager and Women's Health Medical Director on relevant programmatic issues occurring in the Community Based Outpatient Clinics with recommendations for improvement in service delivery.
- Ensure compliance with all laws and regulations related to confidentiality and release of information, and protect Veterans' personal identifying information.
- U.S. Citizenship
- Current, full, active, and unrestricted registration as a graduate professional nurse in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States, or the District of Columbia
- Graduate of a school of professional nursing approved by the appropriate accrediting agency and accredited by one of the following accrediting bodies at the time the program was completed by the applicant: The Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) or The Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE)
This position requires sitting at a desk working at a computer, engaging in light to moderate physical activity, and exercising patience and control of emotions. The incumbent must be able to perform primarily light and sedentary duties with occasionally moderate physical demands.
