We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Physician (Dermatology) Chief to lead our Dermatology Department at the Veterans Affairs, Veterans Health Administration. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, leading clinical services, and promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive dermatologic services, including general dermatology, surgical procedures, and teledermatology.
- Lead and manage the Dermatology Department, including staff supervision, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Develop and implement clinical policies and procedures to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care and promote a culture of teamwork and excellence.
- Participate in education and training programs to stay current with the latest advancements in dermatology.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or be eligible for citizenship.
- Must have a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) degree from an accredited medical school.
- Must be board certified in dermatology and have a valid medical license.
- Must have at least 5 years of experience in dermatology, including leadership and management experience.
