About the Role

TikTok is a platform that empowers creativity and brings joy to its global community of users and creators. We are seeking an insights-driven product marketer to oversee our global Responsibility marketing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Help shape and promote important Trust and Safety narratives, programs, and product launches globally.
  • In collaboration with cross-functional teams, execute Trust & Safety product marketing roadmaps, set measurable results, own user & competitive insights, shape product & external messaging, and execute across channels.
  • Work cross-functionally to improve the visibility of Trust & Safety and product marketing efforts; developing a continuous flow of communication among relevant teams.
  • Be the voice of Product to Marketing, and the voice of Marketing to Product: drive alignment across product and business teams for the purpose of unifying our vision and goals for key user audiences in local markets.
  • Spearhead global consistency in product marketing launch strategies and execution, including prioritization, messaging hierarchy, product value prop and positioning, and go-to-market plans.
  • Work with our research and insights teams to deliver deep audience & competitive insights to be used in product decision making.
  • Partner closely with leaders in product, marketing, PR, public policy, operations, strategy, and finance to ensure seamless cross-functional coordination. Be the glue between teams and our users.
Qualifications

We are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications:

  • Possess a passion for TikTok and our mission.
  • Be comfortable working in an experimental and extremely fast-paced environment within a complex, matrixed organization.
  • Have experience conceptualizing, planning, and launching marketing campaigns, and driving awareness & adoption of new products and services; owning and achieving key performance indicators.
  • Bring a creative approach and fresh ideas to build marketing campaigns around product.
  • Have strong project management skills, able to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred Requirements
  • Experience in creating and executing global marketing campaigns is a plus.
  • Be a charismatic, compelling speaker and strong oral & written communication skills.
  • Have 4+ years of marketing experience at mobile/tech/consumer products used by millions, ideally in product marketing, with more recent experience related to Trust & Safety or Responsibility marketing.
  • Experience in brand safety narratives and campaigns, trust and safety marketing, and reputation building storytelling and product marketing is a plus.
  • Have high attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously.
  • Excellent organization, project management, and problem-solving skills.
  • High level of integrity as well as interpersonal skills as you often act as the glue between internal departments.
  • Be a compelling storyteller who can communicate in succinct and inspiring ways to a variety of audiences, including internal stakeholders and external audiences.
