Job Overview

The Patient Access Coordinator plays a vital role in our team, providing day-to-day support in a fast-paced environment. This position involves working closely with colleagues to ensure timely entry of patient information and processing of documentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Enter patient data into our system, including demographics, insurance details, and referral sources.
  • Manage team email, distributing incoming paperwork and ensuring efficient communication.
  • Create and fax medical documents as required.
  • Order necessary equipment for patient care.
  • Develop strong relationships with patients, sales teams, and corporate staff to ensure seamless communication.
  • Support all team members as needed.
  • Comply with HIPAA and privacy regulations at all times.
  • Adhere to laws and best practices regarding patient data and communication.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum six months' experience with MS Office.
  • Proven data entry skills, with a minimum of six months' experience.
  • Basic medical terminology knowledge, with a minimum of six months' experience.
  • Excellent telephone skills, with a minimum of six months' experience.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Able to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Attention to detail and critical thinking skills required.
  • Medical documentation review experience preferred.
Work Environment

This is a part-time position, with potential for full-time in the future. The successful candidate will be required to work onsite at our Memphis, TN location between the hours of 8 AM and 3 PM daily.
