About the Role

Kaniksu Community Health is a leading non-profit healthcare organization dedicated to providing high-quality, patient-centered care. We are seeking a highly skilled Grants Specialist to join our team and contribute to our mission of delivering exceptional healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a comprehensive grant calendar, ensuring timely submission of proposals and reports.
  • Conduct research and develop grant proposals, reports, and letters of intent to secure funding for our organization.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure effective proposal development and submission.
  • Monitor grant spend-down and coordinate with the Finance Department to ensure compliance.
  • Stay up-to-date with grant opportunity announcements and provide daily reporting of new and updated funding opportunities.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, preferably in a relevant field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in grant development, proposal writing, and financial reporting, preferably in a non-profit or government agency.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and follow-through skills.
  • Experience with grant search engines and tools, including Raisers Edge and Sharepoint.
  • Ability to meet deadlines, work under pressure, and produce high-quality grants within time constraints.
  • Strong interpersonal communication and writing skills, with the ability to write a convincing case for funding.
