The Senior Analyst of Information Governance plays a pivotal role in supervising the fundamental functions of the Information Governance Operations team. This includes the management of both physical and digital records, addressing data inquiries, and ensuring meticulous record-keeping. The position requires the development of strategic plans, optimization of workflows, and the successful delivery of critical projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assessing and recommending improvements for the Information Governance program, leveraging expertise in information management, security, and privacy standards.
  • Providing guidance to team members on best practices for data storage and offering training and support for information governance-related inquiries.
  • Overseeing all aspects of information governance, including file intakes, releases, destruction, and data access, while ensuring compliance with organizational policies.
  • Managing records retention processes, determining which documents to preserve, and maintaining accurate records of file management activities.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • Experience in an Am Law 100 firm is preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in Information Governance or Records Management.
  • In-depth knowledge of information governance, data security, privacy principles, and best practices.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Compensation: Competitive salary up to 120K, with flexibility based on experience.
