Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Associate Director, Strategic Account Management to join our team at AbbVie. As a key member of our commercial organization, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strategic relationships with large community group Oncology practices, academic and integrative delivery systems, and other customer groups.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute account strategies to drive business growth and customer satisfaction
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of sales and marketing initiatives
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including physicians, administrators, and other decision-makers
  • Provide leadership and coaching to a team of Oncology specialists to support the launch of Telisotuzumab Vedotin (Teliso-V) in lung cancer
  • Manage and analyze sales data to inform business decisions and optimize sales strategies
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor activity, and market developments to ensure AbbVie remains competitive

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree and/or advanced degree in a related field
  • At least 5 years of pharmaceutical and/or medical device sales experience with documented success
  • Previous account management experience
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare management, landscape, and compliance
  • Excellent business acumen, analytical, and product knowledge
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in thoracic oncology
  • People leadership experience
  • Background selling a companion diagnostic or oncology testing
  • EMR knowledge
