Position Overview

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems troubleshooting and repairs to enhance site operations.
  • Formulate strategies for improved maintenance diagnostics and operational efficiencies to deliver added customer value and minimize service costs.
  • Complete all necessary documentation, including work orders, checklists, and other relevant paperwork.
  • Identify wind turbine error codes and accurately report issues.
  • Oversee wind field operations within the defined contractual obligations to clients.
  • Ensure timely financial reporting, mitigate contractual penalties, and maintain turbine availability.

Essential Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED; an associate degree is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Wind Turbine Technician.
  • Valid driver's license (NON-CDL or CDL).
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting documents, following safety protocols, and adhering to operational and maintenance guidelines.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Capable of addressing problems involving concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Must pass a physical examination and drug/alcohol screening.
  • Physical capability to lift and/or move up to 100 pounds and climb 300 ft multiple times daily while equipped with climbing gear.
  • Must be able to rescue colleagues in emergencies within the tower.
