Join Our Team as a Surgery Veterinary Technician

We are seeking an exceptional Surgery Veterinary Technician to join our team at BluePearl Specialty + Emergency Pet Hospital. As a key member of our surgical team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest level of care for our patients.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare patients for surgery, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the process.
  • Safely restrain patients for procedures, using your expertise to minimize stress and anxiety.
  • Place intravenous catheters in all peripheral veins, demonstrating your skill and attention to detail.
  • Perform phlebotomy, collecting blood samples with precision and care.
  • Prepare slides for cytology, contributing to the diagnosis and treatment of our patients.
  • Proficiently perform digital radiographs, capturing high-quality images to aid in diagnosis.
  • Monitor patients during anesthesia or while sedated, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Perform advanced imaging procedures, such as CT scans and MRI, under the guidance of our experienced team.
  • Mentor and train other coworkers, sharing your knowledge and expertise to enhance our team's skills.
  • Provide patient care with patience and empathy, addressing client concerns and ensuring their satisfaction.
