Role Overview

As a Veterinary Technician at ACCESS Specialty Animal Hospital - Los Angeles, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our patients. Our team is dedicated to delivering the highest standard of patient care, and we are seeking a skilled and compassionate individual to join our dynamic team.

Responsibilities
  • Support veterinarians in ensuring quality veterinary care and advocating for pets and their owners.
  • Assist with surgeries and procedures, maintaining a safe and sterile environment.
  • Communicate with clients about individualized pet health concerns and offer guidance on Thrive Membership options, medications, and additional treatments.
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive medical records with the support of practice systems.
  • Obtain relevant health history and information from clients and maintain medical charts.
  • Use safe restraining techniques, follow standard protocols, and sustain clean, sterile, organized treatment areas, exam rooms, and labs.
  • Be willing to guide, mentor, and support fellow team members.
Requirements
  • Established record of working extensively in specialty surgeries.
  • Enjoy being a key player on a dynamic team providing the highest standard of patient care.
  • Comfortable caring for dogs and cats, or any other animal that may need emergency or urgent care.

Compensation

Hourly pay rate starting at $30 - $40 per hour, negotiable based on credentials and experience.
