Senior Director, Medical Affairs and Strategy

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Executive Director, Medical Affairs to join our team at Vera Therapeutics. This is a key leadership position that will play a critical role in the development and execution of our medical affairs strategy.
Key Responsibilities- Medical Affairs Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive medical affairs strategy that aligns with the company's overall business objectives.
- Product Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and launch new products, including atacicept and MAU868.
- Market Access: Develop and execute a market access strategy to ensure that our products are accessible to patients and healthcare providers.
- External Partnerships: Build and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders, decision-makers, and other external stakeholders to advance our medical affairs objectives.
- Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of medical affairs professionals to achieve business objectives.
- Advanced Clinical and/or Scientific Knowledge: Advanced clinical and/or scientific knowledge in nephrology with an established network of relationships among the global nephrology community.
- Leadership Experience: Significant leadership experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with a proven track record of success in medical affairs and product development.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with cross-functional teams, external stakeholders, and senior leadership.
- Business Acumen: Strong business acumen, with the ability to understand and analyze complex business data and make informed decisions.
