Accounting Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Manager to join our team at Concord Hospitality. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for administering, directing, and controlling the operations of Human Resources and Accounting for the hotel.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Communicate and filter Concord information to the hotel, ensuring seamless operations.
  • Provide direction and counsel to the General Manager on employment matters, ensuring compliance with established personnel policies and procedures.
  • Ensure annual wage and salary reviews and administration are complete, maintaining accurate records.
  • Monitor compliance with established personnel policies and procedures, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Assist with the transition and orientation of new associates, ensuring a smooth onboarding process.
  • Monitor and assist with training efforts, ensuring all associates are equipped with the necessary skills.
  • Work with the corporate team and third-party administrator as Liaison for hotel benefits administration.
  • Conduct yourself to reflect the high standards of professionalism within the Concord Hospitality organization.
  • Responsible for training and accountability of payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Adhere to all policies and procedures established by the company, brand, and government.
  • Project an enthusiastic, optimistic, helpful attitude, promoting a positive work environment.
  • Provide a safe work environment by following all safety and security procedures and rules.
  • Assist other Leadership Team members and/or managers when needed, demonstrating a team-oriented approach.
  • Complete all required accounting functions for the property as advised by the GM and Corporate.
  • Understand and consistently enforce all company SOPs and policies, ensuring compliance.
  • Ensure the proper execution of HR documentation, procedures, and policies are in place and being consistently executed.
  • Attend Monthly HRAC Meetings with the Corporate Director of HR, staying informed and engaged.
  • Each associate will be required to follow the rules as found in the Concord Hospitality Associate Handbook.
  • Other duties as requested by the GM and/or Corporate Directors.
