About HealthExpress/Same Day Clinic

Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment for patients and staff.
- Provide patient care services that assist healthcare providers and clinic operations.
- Manage front office tasks including patient registration, scheduling, check-ins, and payment processing.
- Offer clinical support by measuring patient vitals, preparing exam rooms, stocking supplies, performing point-of-care testing, administering immunizations, conducting COVID-19 swabs, and educating patients.
- Handle a diverse range of acute care patients.
- Manage patient volumes of 25 or more per day, with potential peaks of up to 50.
Compensation:
Position Pay Range: $23.92-$30.83/hour. Actual pay will be determined based on relevant experience and internal equity.

Requirements:
Required Qualifications:
- Completion of a formal Medical Assistant Program, Medical Assistant Certification, or a minimum of two years of experience as a military corpsman.
- BLS certification for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association (AHA).
Preferred Qualifications:
- At least one year of Medical Assistant experience in an outpatient setting.
- Experience working with pediatric patients.
