About HealthExpress/Same Day Clinic

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment for patients and staff.
  • Provide patient care services that assist healthcare providers and clinic operations.
  • Manage front office tasks including patient registration, scheduling, check-ins, and payment processing.
  • Offer clinical support by measuring patient vitals, preparing exam rooms, stocking supplies, performing point-of-care testing, administering immunizations, conducting COVID-19 swabs, and educating patients.
  • Handle a diverse range of acute care patients.
  • Manage patient volumes of 25 or more per day, with potential peaks of up to 50.

Compensation:

Position Pay Range: $23.92-$30.83/hour. Actual pay will be determined based on relevant experience and internal equity.

Requirements:

Required Qualifications:

  • Completion of a formal Medical Assistant Program, Medical Assistant Certification, or a minimum of two years of experience as a military corpsman.
  • BLS certification for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association (AHA).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • At least one year of Medical Assistant experience in an outpatient setting.
  • Experience working with pediatric patients.
