Behavioral Health Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Behavioral Health Technician II to join our team at the State of Mississippi. As a Behavioral Health Technician II, you will play a vital role in providing support services to individuals with mental health needs.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct support services to individuals with mental health needs, including behavioral interventions and crisis management.
- Assist with the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support.
- Document client progress and maintain accurate records.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Bachelor's Degree in Psychology or a related field (social work/services, education, criminal justice, etc.)
- 2-4 years of experience in a behavioral health setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Strong problem-solving and crisis management skills
