We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Behavioral Health Specialist to join our team at Amador County. As a key member of our Behavioral Health Department, you will provide consumer-centered behavioral health services for mental, emotional, and co-occurring disorders, including substance abuse and chemical dependency disorders.
Key Responsibilities- Provide crisis intervention, group and individual education, and case management services to Behavioral Health consumers, family members, and caregivers.
- Prepare reports and maintain confidentiality related to consumer services.
- Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with the recovery team.
- Provide supportive services, money management, housing linkage, and other related services as needed.
- Collaborate with community agencies and other stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as social work, psychology, or counseling.
- Experience working in behavioral health, social services, or a related field.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment and maintain confidentiality.
- Knowledge of state, federal, and local laws, regulations, and requirements for the provision of behavioral health services.
