Key Responsibilities
  • Direct and manage the activities of the maintenance staff to ensure facility and property upkeep, repairs, and preventative maintenance.
  • Coordinate with vendors and manage work orders and budgets.

  • Oversee the fabrication and manufacturing of equipment for production needs and ensure such fabrication and manufacturing is in accordance with the applicable safety regulations.
  • Document all schematic and diagram changes to keep plant records current.
  • Ensure all elements of the Preventive Service Maintenance (PSM) program are followed.
  • Distribute work, monitor progress, completion, and accuracy of work assigned.
  • Draft, update, and maintain standard operating procedures and instruction manuals for department repairs and maintenance.
Requirements
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good math and statistical skills.
  • Excellent computer skills for data input, report writing, and program tracking.
  • Excellent organizational and follow-through skills.
Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to cold, wet, and/or humid conditions; moving mechanical parts; and the noise level in the work environment is moderate to high.
