Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team at Carestream Health. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance for our diagnostic imaging equipment at customer sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, troubleshoot, service, and maintain equipment at customer sites
  • Generate service revenue and adhere to state and federal regulatory requirements
  • Perform administrative duties, including timesheets, service work orders, expense reports, and other related paperwork
  • Actively participate as a member of the regional work team and work to improve team processes
Requirements
  • Associate Degree in electronics or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 2+ years of experience in diagnostic imaging or 4+ years of experience in the electronics industry, preferably in a field service environment
  • Knowledge of computers and networking, including PC competency and utilization of Microsoft Office Suite products
  • Ability to understand and apply electronic, mechanical, and networking theory to install, diagnose, and repair equipment
  • Ability to display strong organizational and multi-tasking skills, self-discipline, and autonomy to work independently in a high-pressure environment
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with X-Ray, Complex Medical Device, Knowledge of Carestream Equipment
Work Environment

This position will involve frequent travel to customer sites, including hospitals and critical care imaging centers. The average driving time is 1-4 hours daily, and occasional overnight stays may be required.

Physical Requirements

The position requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling up to 20 pounds, and occasional lifting or carrying items over 70 pounds.
