Job Title: Field Service Engineer

Agilent is seeking a highly skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance services to our customers worldwide.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install and optimize hardware/software/network products and configurations at customer sites
  • Diagnose and resolve product performance problems
  • Perform maintenance and repairs
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by advising customers on preventive maintenance and configurations, which may impact product performance
  • Proactively respond to potential equipment issues to prevent unplanned interruption of customers' business
  • Deliver fully integrated solutions, which may include peripherals, communications, operating systems, and applications software
  • Train customers in the solutions
Requirements:
  • Meet Agilent-approved customer/vendor credentialing requirements necessary to gain site access, unless prohibited by law
  • Bachelor's degree in a science field, such as chemistry, analytical chemistry, biochemistry, or biotechnology
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience with expertise working with Chromatography and analytical instrumentation, ideally including repair, maintenance, and/or troubleshooting
  • Ability to solve high-impact problems related to product availability
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong customer relationship building skills
  • Ability to travel 35% of the time
  • A valid driver's license is required for this position
Additional Details:

This job has a full-time weekly schedule and includes the option to work remotely. Applications for this job will be accepted until at least October 9, 2024, or until the job is no longer posted. In the US, this position is eligible for choice of company car or reimbursement for personal vehicle usage.

The full-time equivalent pay range for this position is $53.45/hr plus eligibility for bonus, stock, and benefits. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
