Position Overview: This role is crucial for overseeing, training, and mentoring the project team. Responsibilities include prioritizing and delegating tasks, liaising with tradespeople on-site, and monitoring project timelines to ensure efficient, accurate, and timely project completion.

The successful candidate will:

  • Act as the Lead Technical resource for assigned projects.
  • Provide regular updates on job status and performance.
  • Foster and maintain effective relationships with colleagues, clients, general contractors, and subcontractors.
  • Ensure all employees adhere to safety protocols and use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Guarantee compliance with installation policies and procedures, including project tracking, safety regulations, and attendance.
  • Supervise and guide the work of apprentices and journeymen assigned to specific projects.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma, GED, or completion of a trade program or technical school; a college degree is advantageous.
  • Approximately 5+ years of experience in commercial construction or a related field.
  • Ability to manage project labor hours effectively and request change orders as necessary.
  • Commitment to maintaining safe work practices and ensuring compliance with safety policies.
  • Capability to understand and adhere to all company policies and applicable laws.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Proficiency in using computer tools including email, word processing, and project planning software.
