Position Overview

The Automotive Service Center Supervisor is accountable for the operational management and performance of the service center, ensuring safety, efficiency, and financial accountability. This role emphasizes customer satisfaction, retention, and the expansion of both existing and new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and operational efficiencies.
  • Foster a positive work environment that encourages collaboration and high productivity among team members.
  • Manage recruitment, training, and development of staff, ensuring they are motivated and equipped to deliver exceptional service.
  • Engage with customers to provide comprehensive vehicle inspections and make informed service recommendations.
  • Discuss pricing estimates and promote service specials to enhance customer engagement.
  • Supervise the technical team in diagnosing and repairing a variety of vehicles, including domestic, European, and Asian models.
  • Maintain accurate inventory counts and manage stock levels to prevent losses.
  • Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the facility, adhering to environmental compliance standards.
  • Handle payroll and record-keeping for employee hours and scheduling.
  • Submit daily sales reports to corporate management.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a supervisory or managerial role within the automotive service industry.
  • General knowledge of automotive systems and repair processes.
  • Proficient in POS systems and internet applications.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license.
