Construction Line Worker

We are seeking a skilled Construction Line Worker to join our team at Windstream Communications. As a key member of our construction organization, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining poles, cables, and conduits. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of our services to customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and repair poles, cables, and conduits in accordance with industry standards and company procedures.
- Perform aerial and underground cable installations, including stringing lines and pulling cables.
- Conduct pole climbing and repair operations, ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of services.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve project goals and objectives.
- Participate in safety meetings and adhere to company safety protocols.
Requirements:
- 1+ year of experience in outside plant construction, including installation, repair, and maintenance of poles and buried or aerial cable.
- Pole climbing certification.
- Ability to lift/push/pull up to 75 pounds.
- Ability to work in all weather conditions, year-round.
- Valid driver's license and ability to pass DOT certification pre-hire.
- Minimum qualifications to obtain a CDL post-hire.
