Role of the Project Manager
The Project Manager at Overaa Construction acts as the central figure within a team responsible for the successful execution of construction projects. This role involves meticulous pre-planning and risk mitigation to ensure project success. The Project Manager fosters collaborative relationships with clients and stakeholders, inspiring and guiding their teams to complete projects safely and in alignment with Overaa's core values. The individual is accountable for delivering projects on time and within budget while managing all aspects of the project.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee tactical project execution, including defining project strategies and deliverables.
- Manage all administrative and contractual responsibilities, including owner contracts, subcontracts, and purchase orders.
- Engage in business development efforts to cultivate strategic partnerships with key clients.
- Represent the company at conferences, trade shows, and community events.
- Lead project pursuits, including proposal strategies, estimating, presentations, interviews, and preconstruction services.
- Promote safety on job sites and advocate for safe work practices, completing all required safety training.

Overall Responsibilities and Authority
- Manage project execution risks effectively.
- Develop job-specific buyout strategies in collaboration with the Project Executive and estimating team.
- Formulate project budgets, oversee cost control, manage change orders, and plan manpower and resources.
- Coordinate the master scheduling process with the project superintendent and trade partners.
- Lead the development and implementation of quality control, safety, and environmental programs for each project.
- Facilitate communication with project stakeholders regarding issues and propose resolutions.
- Supervise and mentor Project Engineers, Field Engineers, Team Coordinators, and Project Accountants.
- Thoroughly review the prime contract with the owner to understand rights and obligations.
- Adhere to notice provisions of the prime contract to protect rights and minimize risks.
- Report directly to the Project Executive.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant project experience across all construction phases.
- A degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
- Highly organized with a systematic approach to achieving results.
- Strong interpersonal skills to manage diverse personalities effectively.
- Familiarity with QSP, SWPPP, LEED, and sustainability practices is advantageous.
- Proficiency in project management software such as Procore, PlanGrid, Bluebeam, Revit, SketchUp, AutoCAD, Primavera, Navisworks, Microsoft Project, and Viewpoint is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Compensation and Benefits
Salary range based on experience: $108K - $176K.
