Key Responsibilities:
- Execution of RGM Strategies: Lead the implementation of revenue growth management and demand shaping strategies that align with the organization’s overarching business objectives and specific channels/categories.
- Budget Management: Contribute to the annual planning process and ongoing budget allocation, providing data-driven insights to optimize channel and category budgets while identifying opportunities for enhanced ROI.
- Forecasting and Demand Management: Oversee a comprehensive forecasting review process to accurately assess performance variances, inform demand shaping initiatives, and prioritize revenue growth management levers; regularly report insights to senior leadership.
- Data Governance and Commercial Processes: Collaborate with key stakeholders to centralize and standardize commercial data, tools, and processes that support the deployment of revenue growth management capabilities across the consumer packaged goods sector.
- Price and Promotion Strategy Optimization: Analyze historical promotional performance and market conditions to evaluate promotional effectiveness. Work alongside commercial teams to refine pricing and promotional strategies through data-driven approaches, including pricing tests and elasticity analyses.
- Performance Monitoring: Manage dashboards and reporting systems to track the effectiveness of revenue growth management initiatives and key performance indicators, including trade and pricing metrics, sales trends, and profitability assessments. Identify areas for process enhancement and revenue optimization.
- Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Engage with various departments, including Sales, Category Management, Supply Chain, and Finance, to gather insights, align strategies, and propel revenue growth initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, marketing, or a related field; an MBA or advanced degree is advantageous.
- Experience: A minimum of 5 years in revenue growth management or a related role within the consumer packaged goods industry, with a deep understanding of relevant methodologies, strategies, tools, and data sources.
- Strategic Insight: Ability to develop and test hypotheses to generate innovative solutions and identify high-potential sales opportunities.
- Analytical Skills: Proficient in conducting complex analyses to assess impact and prioritize initiatives that maximize margin and performance outcomes.
