Position Summary:

At Bryant Bank, we are committed to delivering exceptional service to our clients. The Teller serves as a vital part of our team, engaging directly with customers to facilitate various transactions that meet their financial requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Processes deposits and loan payments, ensuring the accuracy of each transaction.
  • Issues cash for checks and manages fund disbursement after confirming signatures and available balances.
  • Assesses checks for validity, including date verification, identification of payees, bank details, and compliance with legal standards.
  • Records transactions in the bank's system, ensuring all activities are documented and customer receipts are generated.
  • Maintains an adequate cash supply and currency to fulfill daily operational needs.
  • Conducts end-of-shift balancing of cash drawers to ensure accuracy.
  • Utilizes relevant information to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and standards.
  • Identifies opportunities to promote additional banking services to customers.
  • Fosters positive and collaborative relationships with colleagues, maintaining them over time.
  • Ensures a secure work environment for all negotiable instruments and confidential information.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Education Requirements:

Experience Requirements:

Physical Requirements:
