The ideal candidate will be a strategic partner to the CEO and Executive Management team, providing financial leadership and guidance to support the company's growth goals. As a seasoned finance professional, you will oversee the financial operations of the company, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting, and guiding the organization's financial planning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the Finance and Accounting departments, ensuring efficient financial operations, including forecasting, pricing, reporting, and compliance with regulations.
  • Develop and maintain a rolling five-year financial plan to guide the company's long-term financial strategy.
  • Directs the preparation of all financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, cash flow, shareholder reports, tax returns, and governmental agency reports.
  • Manage cash flow positions and assess borrowing needs. Oversee relationships with banks and lenders, ensuring compliance with financial covenants and regulations.
  • Understand and mitigate elements of the company's risk profile, including overseeing business insurance to determine appropriate coverages.
  • Identify and evaluate opportunities for business expansion and growth, ensuring alignment with organizational strategies and goals.
  • Analyze business operations with key stakeholders to identify and implement improvements, reorganization opportunities, and efficiency enhancements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or other relevant field of study.
  • 15+ years of progressive finance experience with broad scope of responsibility and 3+ years in a senior financial leadership capacity.
  • Prior experience in the manufacturing industry, including multi-plant or multi-site operations.
  • Experience in a commodity-based business with responsibility for strategic pricing.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks, troubleshoot, and problem-solve beyond routine issues.
  • High degree of independence, intuition, and initiative.
  • Skilled in database management and accounting software applications, including SAP and Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance; Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation strongly preferred.
  • Food or beverage manufacturing industry experience preferred.
  • M&A transaction or acquisition integration experience is a bonus.
  • Experience with commodity hedging programs and interest rate swaps.
