We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development professional to join our team at Burnett Specialists Staffing | Recruiting. As a key member of our growth team, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities to drive revenue growth and expansion.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and execute comprehensive sales plans to achieve business development goals and objectives
- Build and maintain relationships with industry contacts through trade associations, state agencies, and other organizations
- Source new sales opportunities through prospecting and outbound methods
- Plan and execute trade shows, conferences, and other events to showcase our products and services
- Manage bids and proposals to increase sales and revenue
- Participate in developing and executing long-term business strategies
- Provide regular reporting and analysis to management on sales performance and market trends
- Minimum 5 years of experience in new business development, preferably in a hunter role
- Experience with the RFP process in private and government sectors
- Strategic sales experience, preferably in contract services
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing or Management, or equivalent experience
- Superior communication, cooperation, and organizational skills
- Ability to think strategically and operate autonomously
