Job Summary

The Director of Rehabilitation (DOR) plays a pivotal role in overseeing the delivery of rehabilitation therapy programs to patients in our facilities. This position is responsible for coordinating policies, objectives, initiatives, and programs to ensure the highest quality of care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the development and implementation of rehabilitation therapy programs
  • Oversee the performance of rehabilitation therapy staff, including physical therapists, speech-language pathologists, and occupational therapists
  • Develop and manage budgets for the rehabilitation department
  • Ensure compliance with professional and clinical competency standards, as well as state and federal regulatory requirements
  • Lead and direct the work of others, including rehabilitation therapy staff and other departmental personnel
  • Treat patients, as necessary, in accordance with their practice area
Qualifications and Skills

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in rehabilitation therapy, with a focus on leadership and management. Required qualifications include:

  • Previous experience as a licensed physical therapist, speech-language pathologist, or occupational therapist
  • Or, previous experience as a physical therapy assistant or certified occupational therapy assistant with at least 5 years of experience and past supervisory experience

Salary Range:

$50.00 to $58.00 per hour, dependent upon experience, schedule, and employee classification
