About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced leader to serve as the Executive Director of our Stockton chapter. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the organization's efforts in San Joaquin County, working closely with community leaders, schools, non-profit partners, and investors to drive positive change in the lives of children and families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic leadership and direction to the organization, ensuring alignment with our mission and values.
  • Develop and implement effective fundraising strategies to secure financial support for the chapter.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with community stakeholders, including local leaders, schools, and non-profit organizations.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of programs and services that meet the unique needs of children and families in Stockton.
  • Collaborate with national staff to ensure consistency and quality in our programs and services.
  • Ensure the fair and equitable treatment of all staff and children, promoting a culture of inclusion and empowerment.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree required, advanced degree preferred.
  • At least 10 years of experience in non-profit management and fundraising, with a proven track record of success.
  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to research, design, and implement programs and services.
