Job Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned Director of Human Resources to lead our HR department and drive business growth. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of HR best practices, a passion for serving people, and a commitment to fostering a positive company culture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement HR strategies that align with our overall business goals.
  • Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategies to attract and retain top talent.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive work environment, address employee concerns, and manage conflict resolution.
  • Design and manage performance appraisal systems to drive employee development and organizational success.
  • Oversee benefits programs and compensation strategies to ensure competitiveness and alignment with industry standards.
  • Create and oversee the implementation of employee training programs to enhance skills, promote career growth, and support leadership development.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Develop, implement, and update HR policies and procedures as needed.
  • Track HR metrics, analyze trends, and provide reports to senior management to support data-driven decision-making.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Minimum of 12 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 7 years in a leadership role.
  • Broad understanding of HR best practices, employment law, and organizational development.
  • Proven experience in strategic planning and implementation of HR initiatives.
  • Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to influence and drive change.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Multi-market, union/non-union, and federal contract compliance experience preferred.
  • SHRM-SCP or SPHR a plus.
