Position Overview:
As a Retail Operations Supervisor, you will assist in leading a dynamic team of approximately 10-12 staff members. Your primary focus will be on enhancing daily sales, managing rental operations, and overseeing merchandising activities to achieve optimal profitability and an unparalleled guest experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Fulfill manager-on-duty responsibilities as required.
  • Support the Store Manager in maintaining operational standards in line with company policies.
  • Model and uphold high standards of retail presentation, merchandising, and cleanliness.
  • Assist in driving sales while fostering a culture of outstanding guest service.
  • Ensure compliance with company paperwork and documentation standards.
  • Help monitor and manage daily operational budgets, including payroll oversight.
  • Participate in the recruitment and retention of a skilled core team.
  • Facilitate onboarding and training for new hires in areas such as POS systems, product knowledge, and customer service.
  • Communicate company values and objectives effectively to team members.
  • Lead inventory management efforts to meet or exceed established goals.
  • Enforce cash handling and loss prevention policies diligently.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and product knowledge.
  • Exhibit a positive attitude and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Collaborate with the Store Manager to address any operational challenges.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
  • Minimum of 1 year of retail experience, with a preference for snow sports retail.
  • At least 1 year of management experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Flexibility to work varied schedules, including weekends.

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with rental and retail POS systems.
