Help Desk Specialist

Job Summary
The primary objective of this role is to ensure the smooth operation of IT-related systems and hardware by providing technical support and troubleshooting services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic solutions to resolve technical issues related to Help Desk support.
- Provide expert assistance to end-users on a variety of technical matters, identifying and resolving problems efficiently.
- Respond to phone calls, emails, and Help Desk requests for technical support in a timely and professional manner.
- Document and track problems to ensure timely resolution and maintain accurate records.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies, including Microsoft Client Operating Systems, Windows 7/8.1/10/11, Microsoft Office, and Imaging technologies.
- Deploy hardware as needed to support the organization's IT infrastructure.
Requirements:
Skills and Abilities:
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and frequent interruptions.
- Strong understanding of computer hardware, including SSD, RAM, Processor, and other components.
- Knowledge of IT systems and their interconnections.
- Familiarity with mobile devices, including iPhone and iOS.
- Basic working knowledge of TCP/IP and LAN Networking.
- Adherence to all safety policies and guidelines.
- Willingness to take on special projects as directed by management.
Education and Experience:
A minimum of 1 year of experience in a related field, with relevant certifications considered a plus.
Working Conditions:
- Physical Demands: The role requires standing, sitting, squatting, walking, bending, moving, reaching, or stretching for prolonged periods, with no restrictions.
- Work in a safe and professional manner, adhering to all regulatory requirements, including OSHA, EPA, State, and Federal regulations.
- Comprehend and adhere to management directions and/or safety instructions with no restrictions.
- Effectively communicate in Business English language.
- Pull, push, carry, lift, or move items up to 50 lbs. throughout the work shift without assistance.
- Pull, push, carry, lift, or move materials, people, items, or equipment weighing over 50lbs or more during the work shift, with the use of Company-provided devices.
Travel: The candidate may be required to travel domestically and possibly internationally.
