About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Dental Assistant to join our team at Metro Dentalcare - Lakeville - Cedar. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our dental team.

Responsibilities
  • Greet and welcome patients, ensuring a positive and comfortable experience throughout their dental journey.
  • Conduct thorough reviews of patient health histories to provide quality care.
  • Take and process x-rays and other diagnostic assessments using state-of-the-art technology.
  • Provide superior chairside assistance to supported dentists during various procedures, adhering to the state dental practice act.
  • Utilize Dentrix for patient scheduling and record-keeping.
  • Prepare treatment rooms with strict adherence to safety protocols and OSHA & CDC recommendations.
  • Manage supply and inventory levels, placing and expediting orders as needed.
  • Partner with providers and team members to implement Heartland Dental systems and maximize office workflow.

About Metro Dentalcare - Lakeville - Cedar

Metro Dentalcare - Lakeville - Cedar is a unique and dynamic office, serving the community and patients with a collaborative and communicative team. We offer a competitive starting rate of $29-32/hour and a $2500 sign-on bonus for licensed dental assistants.

Schedule:

  • Monday: 9:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
  • Tuesday: 10:30 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
  • Wednesday: 6:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
  • Thursday: 6:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
  • Friday: Off
Qualifications
  • Working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced and customer-centric environment.
  • If required under the state dental practice act, dental assistant certification and/or x-ray certification.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • The position will have access to minimum PHI necessary for performing job-related functions; regular HIPAA training, aligning with the specific role and responsibilities, will be required; and the individual will need to protect PHI and maintain data safeguards.
  • A Minnesota dental assisting license is required (or in process of obtaining).
