Responsibilities:- Assist residents with personal cares, such as bathing, oral hygiene, grooming, toileting, dressing, and showers
- Check and record vital signs, as per community patient care model
- Provide AM/PM cares, including peri care and catheter care
- Turn, lift, or transfer residents with or without mechanical assistance
- Observe residents and report their status to appropriate staff
- Chart or document in electronic medical record system
- Seek to resolve resident and family concerns
- Receive and give report to appropriate staff during various times in the work shift
- Perform other duties, such as maintaining order and cleanliness in rooms and work areas, reporting malfunctioning equipment, and answering phones in a timely manner
- Active on the MN Nursing Assistant registry by start date
- If hired into the Ebenezer Nursing Assistant Training program, granted a 4-month grace period from hire date to be active on the MN Nursing Assistant registry
- Ability to work with a diverse and geriatric population
- Effective communication and empathy for residents and coworkers
- Experience working as a HHA, PCA, DSP, NA, or Resident Assistant
- Work experience in a customer service setting
