Position Overview:

We are in search of a dedicated Custodial Technician. The ideal candidate will be proactive, possess outstanding customer service abilities, and have a genuine commitment to delivering high-quality results while fostering a positive experience for both team members and residents.

Key Responsibilities:

- Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of our properties at all times. Our custodial staff plays a crucial role in ensuring that the premises are free of litter and that waste collection is performed promptly.

- Prioritize the safety of our team and residents by adhering to established safety protocols and policies. Regular property inspections are essential to ensure a tidy and secure environment while minimizing liabilities.

- Facilitate effective communication with the maintenance team regarding necessary repairs and maintenance issues. Engage directly with residents to address concerns, inform them about property events, and deliver important notices.

- Adapt to changing operational needs by assisting in various tasks to ensure efficient property management. Time management and prioritization are essential skills for juggling resident services and facility requests.

- Prepare vacated apartments for new residents by completing all necessary cleaning and maintenance tasks to ensure a welcoming and well-maintained home.

- Contribute to community-building efforts by assisting in the setup and breakdown of resident events and participating in other related activities.

- Take initiative in problem-solving, even in areas outside your primary responsibilities, and be prepared to embrace additional tasks as they arise.

- Seek leadership opportunities and actively contribute to the company's broader objectives.

Qualifications:

- 1-3 years of relevant maintenance experience is preferred.

- Customer-focused with a friendly demeanor, positive outlook, and strong follow-through.

- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.

- Strong organizational skills and the ability to motivate and lead team members.

- Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks and deadlines.

- Proficient in maintaining organized workspaces and documentation.

- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.

- Familiarity with local transportation options is advantageous.

- Proficiency in English is essential.

- Basic technological skills, including familiarity with smartphones and computers, are necessary.

- Competency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software is expected.

Physical Requirements:

This role involves regular walking, standing, and sitting for extended periods, as well as occasional stooping, kneeling, or crouching. Close vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to focus on a computer monitor for prolonged periods are required. Manual dexterity for operating office equipment is necessary, and the ability to lift items weighing up to 40 pounds is essential.
