Position Overview:
Under the guidance of the Executive Chef, the Culinary Event Specialist is accountable for the meticulous planning, organization, food preparation, and execution of culinary offerings for banquets and private events. This role also encompasses maintaining cleanliness and adhering to sanitation standards as directed by the Executive Chef.

Compensation:
This position offers an hourly wage ranging from $26 to $28.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop a thorough understanding of daily function sheets to effectively coordinate the setup and organization of private and banquet events.
- Prepare and store all necessary food items in accordance with quality standards.
- Maintain adequate quantities of essential items for kitchen operations, such as dressings, salsas, and soups.
- Communicate with the Executive Chef or Sous Chef regarding special product needs or issues with food quality and presentation.
- Ensure consistent preparation and presentation of dishes, adhering to established standards.
- Demonstrate proficiency in sauce preparation and cooking techniques for various proteins and vegetables.
- Uphold safe food handling practices and maintain personal hygiene at all times.
- Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of the work area and kitchen, including all equipment and tools.
- Collaborate with team members to deliver exceptional service without needing direction.
- Address member or guest complaints promptly and effectively.

Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of experience in a kitchen environment.
- Culinary training is preferred.
- Health & Sanitation Certification.
- Strong communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced indoor environment.

Physical Requirements:
- Capable of standing, walking, and performing various physical tasks, including lifting up to 100 lbs occasionally.

Work Environment:
- Attendance at daily meetings and adherence to the weekly schedule is required, with additional hours as necessary to meet job demands.
