Position Overview:


The primary responsibility of the Production Facility Cleaner is to maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of the production environment and equipment.

Key duties include:
  • Regularly sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and vacuuming production area floors.
  • Cleaning and sanitizing production equipment and associated systems, including tanks, lines, valves, and conveyors.
  • Polishing stainless-steel components to ensure they remain in pristine condition.
  • Ensuring the production area is free from debris, including bottles and packaging materials.
  • Reporting any equipment issues or maintenance needs to management.
  • Completing necessary documentation regarding equipment status and supply orders.
  • Utilizing appropriate safety gear and adhering to safety protocols.
  • Wearing the company-provided uniform and complying with sanitation standards.
  • Participating in all required safety and food safety training.

Additional responsibilities may be assigned by supervisors as needed.


Qualifications:

To excel in this role, candidates should possess:

  • A high school diploma or GED, or relevant experience in a similar role.
  • Strong communication skills to comprehend instructions and memos.
  • Basic mathematical skills for measuring and interpreting data.
  • Common sense reasoning to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Physical Requirements:

The role involves:

  • Regular use of hands for handling and reaching.
  • Frequent walking, stooping, kneeling, and occasional climbing.
  • Lifting and moving items weighing up to 100 pounds.

Work Environment:

Employees may encounter:

  • Wet and humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, and exposure to fumes.
  • Occasional risk of electrical shock and exposure to loud noise levels.
