Work Schedule

We offer various shifts to accommodate different schedules:

  • Monday - Friday 3:00 pm - 11:30 pm
  • Monday - Friday 10:00 pm - 6:30 am
  • Friday-Sunday 6:00 am - 6:30 pm
  • Friday-Sunday 6:00 pm - 6:30 am

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Maintaining cleanliness in GMP and controlled environments, adhering to all safety protocols.
  • Cleaning and sanitizing entryways, hallways, restrooms, offices, and communal areas.
  • Performing floor care tasks including vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and utilizing floor scrubbers.
  • Disinfecting urinals, toilets, countertops, sinks, and showers, while ensuring restroom supplies are replenished.
  • Managing waste disposal by emptying trash receptacles and following disposal guidelines.
  • Dusting and cleaning surfaces such as windows, blinds, vents, furniture, and mirrors.
  • Conducting cleaning tasks in elevated areas and beneath furniture.
  • Securing premises by ensuring lights are off and doors are locked after cleaning.
  • Completing assigned tasks independently or with minimal supervision.
  • Assisting in the setup of furniture and equipment for special events as required.
  • Participating in snow removal and applying ice melt during winter conditions.
  • Maintaining custodial equipment in good working order.
  • Reporting any maintenance issues or damage to management promptly.
  • Documenting daily activities and maintaining cleaning logs.
  • Requesting custodial supplies and managing inventory in the supply closet.
  • Performing additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Experience in GMP, manufacturing clean rooms, or healthcare environments, with a minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience.
  • A high school diploma or GED equivalent.

Skills and Competencies

Successful candidates will demonstrate:

  • Proficiency in reading, writing, and communicating in English.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow through on tasks.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
  • Capability to complete job assignments efficiently and thoroughly.
  • Familiarity with custodial equipment such as vacuum cleaners and buffers.
  • Basic computer skills for email and data entry.
  • Knowledge of cleaning products and safety data sheets.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships within the workplace.
