Job Summary

Meadow Brook Rehab and Nursing is seeking a skilled Maintenance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our facilities department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment and systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on kitchen, HVAC, laundry, and grounds maintenance equipment
  • Inspect equipment and systems to ensure proper function and safety
  • Handle incoming and outgoing freight, lift/move heavy furniture and equipment
  • Assist with plumbing, painting, and electrical tasks as needed
  • Conduct regular flooring maintenance to ensure a safe and clean environment

Requirements:

  • 6 months of prior commercial/industrial maintenance experience
  • Experience with commercial flooring maintenance a plus
  • Strong reasoning skills and good judgment
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
  • Ability to implement and interpret departmental programs, goals, and policies
  • Proficient in patient rights, safety, and sanitation
