The College of Naturopathic Medicine at National University of Natural Medicine is seeking a qualified Adjunct Clinical Faculty member to join our team.
Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and experienced naturopathic doctor to teach and mentor students in our clinical program. The successful candidate will have a strong background in clinical practice and a passion for education.
Responsibilities
- Teach and mentor students in clinical settings
- Develop and implement curriculum for clinical education
- Assess student performance and provide feedback
- Participate in faculty meetings and contribute to departmental decisions
- Stay current with professional continuing education requirements
Requirements
- ND degree from a CNME-approved college
- Minimum of 5 years of successful full-time clinical practice
- Post-graduate medical education/residency preferred
- Course and curriculum design experience desirable
Qualifications
- Strong drive to serve the University and the natural medicine professions
- Familiarity with NUNM policies and procedures
- Knowledge of current trends in clinical pedagogy and curriculum development
- Knowledge of instructional discipline to a depth and breadth appropriate to the assignment
- Skills in instructing diverse students and using technology to communicate effectively
Working Conditions
This position is based in Portland, Oregon.
