Job Summary

Chamberlain University is seeking a highly qualified Clinical Nursing Faculty member to join our team. As a Clinical Nursing Faculty, you will be responsible for implementing the College's philosophy, curriculum, program outcomes, and course objectives through clinical teaching and service to the College, community, health system, and profession.

Key Responsibilities

  • Teach clinical nursing courses to students in a variety of settings, including hospitals, clinics, and other healthcare facilities.
  • Develop and implement curriculum to meet the needs of students and the healthcare industry.
  • Provide direct supervision and evaluation of nursing students delivering nursing care to individuals or groups.
  • Evaluate and provide documented feedback to students on their level of performance based on course objectives.
  • Assume responsibility for all autonomous aspects of individual teaching assignments.

Qualifications

  • A master's or doctoral degree in Nursing from a regionally accredited college or university.
  • An unencumbered professional nursing license in the state of Oregon.
  • At least two years of professional experience within the last five years in the area of instruction as a registered nurse.
  • Teaching or precepting experience is preferred but not required.
