Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Manager, Facilities to join our team at Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the site in accordance with all agreed policies, procedures, and contract scope.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage vendor relationships and ensure compliance with contract requirements
  • Assist with vendor contract procurement process and ensure all vendors meet insurance requirements
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety, environment, and risk management policies and procedures
  • Coordinate with internal teams, including fitness, food services, security, and capital projects
  • Support site and area manager in implementing short and long-term projects for the client
  • Proactively develop and manage client relationships to ensure expected service levels are achieved
  • Deliver exceptional quality of service to the client, as reflected by client feedback
  • Support the implementation of innovative programs and processes to reduce operating costs and increase productivity
  • Assist with annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes, and prepare monthly spend reports
  • Manage vendor purchase orders, invoices, and payments
  • Help develop and approve the annual capital plan for each building
  • Actively support an environment of teamwork, co-operation, performance excellence, and personal success
Requirements
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Facilities, Property, Business, or related field
  • Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in facilities management or related field
  • Proficient in a range of information technology tools and platforms
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and presentation skills
