Job Summary

As a key member of our food and beverage team, you will assist in supervising daily operations to ensure exceptional guest satisfaction and maintain the operating budget. Your responsibilities will include ensuring compliance with all food and beverage policies, standards, and procedures, as well as supervising staffing levels to meet operational needs and financial objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in managing day-to-day operations, including ordering supplies and supervising daily shift operations.
  • Support and supervise an effective monthly self-inspection program to ensure compliance with food and beverage policies and procedures.
  • Operate all department equipment as necessary and report any malfunctions.
  • Supervise staffing levels to ensure guest service, operational needs, and financial objectives are met.
  • Encourage and build mutual trust, respect, and cooperation among team members.
  • Develop specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish your work.
  • Communicate areas that need attention to staff and follow up to ensure understanding.
  • Coordinate cleaning programs in all food and beverage areas, identifying trends and making recommendations for improvements.
  • Follow property-specific second effort and recovery plans.
  • Stay readily available and approachable for all team members.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED; 3 years of experience in food and beverage, culinary, or related professional area.
  • Or 2-year degree from an accredited university in food service management, hotel and restaurant management, hospitality, business administration, or related major; 1 year of experience in food and beverage, culinary, or related professional area.
