Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Naval Service Engineer to join our team at Rolls-Royce. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing in-service support to the US Navy, Coast Guard, and Naval shipyards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance, repair, and commissioning work on equipment in accordance with technical documentation
  • Conduct tests and inspections to Quality Assurance/Quality Control standards
  • Create reports documenting the work performed
  • Establish and maintain close liaison with all relevant sections of customer organization and Rolls-Royce management
  • Review engineering changes with regard to their effect on the product in the field
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent and 5+ years of gas turbine maintenance, repair, and/or overhaul experience
  • Associate Degree with 3+ years gas turbine maintenance, repair, and/or overhaul experience
  • Knowledge of Waterjets, Controllable Pitch Propellers, Tunnel Thrusters, and CanMan System
  • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, diagrams, and technical manuals
  • Computer experience with Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
Preferred Requirements
  • Understanding of electronic remote-control systems
