Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement cloud infrastructure using AWS services
  • Develop and maintain infrastructure automation scripts to provision and manage AWS resources
  • Enable configuration management, ensuring consistent and secure deployments across various environments
  • Automate deployment, scaling, and management of containers
  • Troubleshoot and resolve cloud infrastructure issues, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance
  • Continuously improve and optimize cloud infrastructure and configuration management processes to enhance efficiency and reduce manual interventions
  • Implement proactive monitoring and logging solutions to ensure system health and security compliance
  • Provide immediate notification and detailed communication in the event of system-wide outages or performance issues
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field and 8 years of Cloud Engineering experience
  • Must possess and maintain TS/SCI Clearance with Polygraph
  • Experience as a Cloud Engineer or similar role
  • Strong understanding of AWS core services such as EC2, RDS, VPC, IAM, and others
  • Experience with automation tools (e.g. Ansible, Jenkins)
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g. Python, Java, TypeScript, etc.)
  • Solid understanding of networking protocols and security best practices
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools
  • Professional certification(s) in AWS
Preferred Qualifications:
  • AWS Certification
  • Experience in Intelligence Community or Homeland Security or Law Enforcement IT and understanding of Counterterrorism mission support
