Job Summary and Qualifications

We are looking for a full-time Interventional Radiology Technologist. In this role, you will operate advanced medical imaging equipment and assist in procedures such as angiography and cardiac catheterization, as well as those conducted in the Interventional Radiology Lab.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Exhibit accountability and compassion while performing procedures and providing care.
  • Prepare and position patients and equipment safely and competently.
  • Conduct technical radiographic procedures efficiently.
  • Assist in the administration of contrast media.
  • Capture high-quality radiographic images and ensure they meet quality standards.
  • Gather and document relevant patient information prior to examinations.
  • Maintain effective communication with patients, explaining procedures within your scope of practice.
  • Collaborate proactively with radiologists.
  • Participate in on-call rotations as required.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • Associate's Degree from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
  • Active Florida Department of Health licensure (CRT).
  • Current ARRT credential; RCIS credential is also considered with relevant experience.
  • Minimum of two years of licensed experience in Radiology, including at least one year in Interventional Radiology.
  • 18 months of experience in special procedures.
  • Experience in Angio, Peripheral, and Neuro procedures is a plus.
  • BLS certification required upon hire; ACLS certification required within six months of hire.
