About the Role

The Executive Meetings Manager is a key member of the Hotel Theodore team, responsible for planning and coordinating small group meetings and room sales to meet and exceed revenue and profit goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, solicit, book, and coordinate small group meetings and room sales to meet and exceed revenue and profit goals.
  • Provide exceptional service to internal and external guests at all times, exemplifying the Pyramid Global Hospitality brand and promoting the resort as a destination and employer of choice.
  • Solicit, negotiate, and confirm new and repeat business through various efforts, including lead follow-up, telemarketing, direct mail, referrals, and internet prospecting.
  • Plan, up-sell, and coordinate function details with clients, including space requirements, meeting times, equipment, menus, billing, and other logistical arrangements.
  • Prepare and execute sales/catering contracts, event orders, and group resumes to ensure quality product delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Create and distribute effective internal and external communication, including written and verbal reports.
  • Develop and implement creative sales strategies by analyzing historical, current, and future hotel/market/account trends.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key corporate, business, and travel industry accounts.
  • Maintain accurate, legible records and files consistent with established automated or manual sales systems.
  • Participate in training, trade shows, field trips, and community, industry, and professional organizations to maintain high visibility in support of sales and revenue goals.
  • Perform special projects and other responsibilities as assigned, and participate in task forces and committees as requested.
Requirements
  • High school diploma required.
  • College degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • A minimum of one year sales experience in a related position with this company or another organization(s). Hotel sales experience preferred.
  • Working knowledge of hotel/resort operations preferred.
  • A good understanding of sales and conference planning procedures preferred.
  • Experience with hospitality software preferred.
Compensation

$60,000/year
