Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Medical and Pediatric Unit, providing high-quality care to patients with a wide range of medical conditions. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and expertise in a dynamic and supportive environment.

About the Unit:

Our 32-bed Medical and Pediatric Unit is a fast-paced and challenging environment that requires a high level of skill and expertise. Our patients come from a variety of backgrounds and have a range of medical conditions, including CHF, renal failure, dialysis, COPD, pneumonia, and Covid-19. We also care for pediatric patients with conditions such as RSV, UTI, oral surgeries, and appendectomies.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and developing care plans.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless care and communication.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest medical advancements and best practices.
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment, promoting teamwork and open communication.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
  • Current RN licensure in the hiring state and/or compact licensure.
  • Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire.
  • Ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 pounds on a regular basis.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of attention to detail.
