Job Overview

The Stellar Group Inc is on the lookout for an Information Security Manager to enhance our team. This pivotal role will spearhead our initiatives to secure and uphold the Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) within our organization. The selected candidate will be tasked with formulating and enforcing our information security protocols, fostering security awareness among our workforce and clientele, addressing incidents and breaches, conducting risk evaluations, and ensuring operational continuity in case of emergencies.

To excel in this position, candidates should possess a robust background in information security, compliance, and risk management, complemented by exceptional communication and leadership capabilities. Familiarity with the CMMC framework and its stipulations, along with other pertinent standards and regulations, is essential. The Information Security Manager will report directly to the Director of IS Operations and collaborate closely with various managers and stakeholders throughout the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, implement, and sustain the information security strategy and roadmap, ensuring alignment with the CMMC framework and other relevant standards.
  • Establish and uphold information security policies, procedures, and best practices, ensuring organizational compliance.
  • Oversee and coordinate the information security team and external partners, providing guidance and support on security matters across departments.
  • Conduct regular audits, assessments, and evaluations to gauge the effectiveness and maturity of the information security program, identifying and addressing any vulnerabilities.
  • Continuously monitor and analyze the information security landscape, staying informed about emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and trends.
  • Lead the incident response process, ensuring prompt and effective actions are taken to manage and resolve any security incidents or breaches.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive security awareness and training program, educating employees and clients on the significance and best practices of information security.
  • Create and execute a business continuity and disaster recovery plan, ensuring the resilience and availability of critical information systems and assets.
  • Prepare and present performance reports and metrics on information security to the Director of IS Operations and senior management.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in information security, compliance, and risk management, ideally in a CMMC-compliant or similar setting.
  • Preferred professional certifications include CISSP, CISM, CISA, or CMMC-AB.
  • In-depth knowledge of the CMMC framework and its requirements, as well as familiarity with other relevant standards such as NIST, ISO, HIPAA, and PCI-DSS.
  • Strong technical expertise in information security domains, including network security, endpoint security, cloud security, identity and access management, and encryption.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across various organizational levels.
  • Analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the capacity to manage multiple projects and priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Meticulous attention to detail, with a commitment to maintaining the confidentiality and integrity of sensitive information.
